Convergart
What is convergart?​ We are a tech-art collective that utilizes AI to generate images, which we then integrate with our self-developed imagery software. These images undergo various filters, offering endless adaptation possibilities and resulting in consistently unique end products. This uniqueness defines us as artists, our visuals and light shows.​
Our approach seeks to harmonize human creativity and artificial intelligence, combining the strengths of both worlds. The applications for our installations are limitless and can be easily tailored to meet specific needs and preferences.​
Interviews serve as the foundation for every project, involving discussions about the desired outcomes, the journey to achieve them, requirements, desired atmosphere, emotional impact, and various other factors depending on the context.​From these discussions, we generate specialized prompts and let the AI work its magic.With the provided images, we return to you to ensure they align with the everybodies vision. If they do, we use these generated images to create a lightshow that is incomparable to anything else - truly unique. It has never been seen before and, thanks to the bespoke effects of our software, will never be replicated in the same way again.
Our Story
As everyone at the start of 2023 we got interested in AI and its endless abilities. Around the same time we felt an urge to do more, to create something ourselves. We started a ritual, a weekly meeting, where we spoke about ideas. Two weeks later we had the idea of a unique and individual lightshow powered trough AI while staying connected to the emotions of the artists. Fast forward two months and we developed our own software, plug-ins and everything else you could think of and were ready to go...

We had the chance to work with multiple talented artists and inspiring people in multiple locations in germany. First and foremost out current location Berlin. The home and birthplace of convergart. A creative and socila hub constantly inspiering us to create and grow. ​A recurring collaborator is the praise collective, espicially with their art space in neukölln. We have been part of multiple events in their neukölln location. ​In August 2023 we came together with the About You Pangea festival and implemented a light show for the entry portal to the main stage. We connected the installation to our interactive controller and enabled the noumerous guests to play with the light shwo and become a part of the festival.
